EOD Memorial Information
EOD Brothers and Sisters:
Respectfully issue a call to arms for the 2012 EOD Memorial Auction. I need your immediate assistance in making this the most productive EOD Memorial Auction ever. I cannot do this without the help of every Active Duty and Retired/Separated EOD Tech and their families.
EOD Shops, Teams, and Units please come together for the following recommended actions:
-Send me your EOD coins with pride
--I want hundreds of EOD coins from all over assembled together for the ultimate definitive collection
--I need someone to make a unique display case (shape of a Crab?) to compliment this collection
-Send your EOD paraphernalia
--Throughout the years I have seen some really beautiful handcrafted EOD related items donated to the auction
---Quilts, stain glass, wood “IED” clocks, blasting machine replicas, bookcases (ammo boxes),
---EOD furniture, artwork, poker chips, poker table (ammo boxes?), trailer hitch covers, cups, mugs, etc
-Send your Blasting Machines
--I want blasting machines from all over assembled together for the ultimate definitive collection
--I need someone to make a display case (from ammo boxes?) to compliment this collection
-Send your EOD Badges/Patches from around the world
--I want dozens of EOD Badges/Patches from all over assembled together for the ultimate collection
--I need someone to make a display frame (ammo boxes?) with a world map to compliment
-Send your EOD Books, Publications, Pamphlets, etc
--I want dozens of explosive related reading material assembled together for the ultimate library
--I need someone to make a bookcase (ammo boxes?) to accompany this library
-Send me your tools
--I want knives, multipliers, crimpers, GPS, Oakleys, Camel Backs, etc
--I will assemble 1 Basic EOD gift box, 1 Senior EOD gift box, and 1 Master EOD gift box to auction
--I need someone to laser etch/wood burn a Crab on 3 time fuse boxes-poly them up nice & pretty
-Contact local businesses for donations
--Utilize friends, spouses, and relatives to assemble the most unique display of auction items ever
--Something little to serve as door prizes to something big as a show case
---TVs, cars, home theater systems, IPODs, IPADs, Zunes, Laptops, property, houses, etc.
I will give my best to make it an event like you have never seen before. Please help me accomplish this. Please send donated items to my address below. You send it and I will auction it! I will commit to Chair the EOD Memorial Auction every year if you commit to help me every year. I cannot do it alone. Together, as a team, we will demonstrate Initial Success. We cannot fail! We will not fail! “We Remember”! 4 Services 1 Crab! Hooyah!
