Indiana Members
Below is a picture of two 5 person teams we had run in the "Dances with Dirt" 60 mile relay race this May. It was the second year we ran it and each year we get more members to participate. . Runners were Active duty LT Seven Johnson, EODCS Mark Wynalda, EOD1 Jason Hoke, and YNSN Demont McMillan. Retired EOD were Dave Nenno, Dennis Cecil, and I. Jason Hoke's father EW2 Sam Statler and Steve Mehay from NSWC Crane augmented our teams.The chapter has met at the Upland Brewery for our first meeting and turnout was low. We are re-establishing a formal meeting place and time and will get that info to you soon.
Last November the Chapter had a huge turnout for the Navy Ball. I will try to get you the group photo from that.
The chapter also played a big role in EODC Phil Kings retirement. EODC (Ret) Danny Ray Jonson read the Watch, EODCM Greg Rooster Redding, EODCS Wynalda, EODC Lee Miracle and EODC Marty Cope participated in the Olde Glory Detail, and I was the Master of Ceremonies.
